Hayward Matthews Sipple, I, son of Merritt Tobias Sipple, Jr. and Beulah Mae Matthews Sipple, was born April 30, 1956 in Wilmington, DE and departed this life July 23, 2010 in St. Francis Hospital.
On September 22, 1984, Hayward married "the love of his life," Debra Deloris Ruffin-Sipple, and from this union were born two beautiful children, Dominique Arielle (Darielle), and Hayward Matthews, II (Matt).
Hayward worked for 26 years for the E. I. DuPont Company in various capacities.
Predeceased in death by his parents Merritt and Beulah Sipple. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of nearly 26 years, Debra; children, Dominique and Hayward, II; sister, Nona E. Sipple; brothers, Howard Henry Matthews, Tobias M. and Albert B. Sipple; devoted aunt and cousin, Nona E. Shavers and Edward R. Shavers; niece, Charlotte Green (George); nephews, George Green III, Christopher Green and Stanley Ruffin, Jr.; mother-in-law, Viola P. Ruffin; 4 brothers-in-law, Joe Jr. (Sharon), Andy, Stanley (Danielle) and Rickey Ruffin (Pat); devoted friends, Adolphus and Regina Fletcher, George Murray, Essie Ray, Renee and Bernard Jenkins, Joyce Woodlen and John and Cheryl Mitchell and a host of other family and friends.
